I studied my MA (Hons) English Literature and Linguistics at the University of Aberdeen and then completed my PhD in English. Since then I have had several teaching roles in secondary schools and Higher Education, as well as publishing a number of academic articles and chapters in books.

I am fully DBS checked.

My skills mean that I am ideally suited to aid students in their studies, from KS3 English through to Higher Education. I offer a number of key roles, which include, but are not limited to:

• KS3 English Language and Literature – preparing for GCSE years
• GCSE English Language and Literature tutoring
• A-Level English Language and Literature tutoring
• Preparation for Higher Education/Study skills
• Undergraduate study
• Proofreading of essays, dissertations and PhD theses
• Copy editing

I am based in Frome, Somerset. Tutoring can take place in my own home or remotely, and proofreading roles will usually be undertaken remotely.
